I want to thank the anonymous Kitti Kar acquaintance/admirer who sent along some pix of Kitti, including a candid shot of Kitti taken in the Blue Room at a hotel near Broadway in NYC, along with the following info tidbits:
"Kitti is alive and well. She is 'around 70' years of age now.
She was a professionally trained classical ballet dancer and was a member of a professional company in NY for a while, as a member of the Corp de Ballet. She then went into musicals and toured with NY companies for about 2-3 years.
She became a headliner "Exotic Dancer", dancing from late 1959 to 1964, and was one of the top earners of the time. In her hey-day she earned anywhere from $800.00 to $1500.00 per week depending on the venue.
She has some amusing ancedotes involving various famous people: politicians, actors, and movie stars that she met. She was twice mentioned in the Walter Winchell column of that time in connection with certain famous personalities."
